Staff Nurse Halsemere, Surrey Up to £26,235 per annum Pulse is working alongside a specialist hospital based in Haslemere, Surrey to recruit Staff Nurses. This hospital offers treatment and care for younger adults with severe disabilities, including acquired brain injury low awareness states, locked in syndrome and spinal cord injury. Patients at this hospital are totally dependent on the clinical staff team and have highly complex needs, so we are looking for dedicated and passionate nurses to deliver a quality service that patients can depend upon. To give you an idea, many patients on this 40 bed unit, which is spread across 2 floors, have tracheostomies and some require mechanical ventilation. Nurse will be working within permanent, full time posts (part time applicants will be considered also) and the salary depending on experience and skills is up to £26,235. The hospital also pay time and one third for hours worked on a Saturday or for hours worked on night duty Monday - Saturday and time & two thirds for hours worked on Sundays & public holidays on both day and night duty. As an extra, the hospital offers an Allowance of £2,110 - £2,230 per annum (for 37.5 hours - this equates to between £1.08 - £1.14 per hour for every hour worked. Please find below shift times: Early: 07.45am - 3pm Late: 1.45pm - 8.45pm Full day: 07.45am - 8.45pm The standard full time of 37.5 hours is made up of 1 full day and 4 short (early & late shifts) days, according to the rota. However, the Manager is prepared to consider a combination of the days shifts above, several existing staff prefer to work all full days (normally 4 per week) or a combination of more full days with fewer short days than the standard full time. They aim to be flexible regarding the number of days and hours worked per week where possible. We are looking for nurses with a minimum of 1 years post qualification nursing experience. Nurse Advisor Gastroenterology - Manchester £27,000 - £32,000 per annum Pulse is working in partnership with a UK leading healthcare organisation to recruit Nurse Advisors. Nurses will be working within a corporate office based setting in the heart of Manchester offering telephone based health and wellbeing support, advice and guidance. We are very interested to hear from nurses with a minimum of 1 years post qualification experience and current NMC registration. We welcome applications from nurses with experience/exposure in Gastroenterology/surgery. In this role you’ll be the clinical expert within the Gastroenterology team to support the implementation of case management, working in a key role supporting customer’s and doctors. This is an exciting opportunity for the right person to help develop and shape customer-centred treatment pathways with a focus on shared decision making, and access to the right care at the right time. You’ll need to be comfortable communicating with a network of leading consultant Gastroenterologists aswell as customers who may need additional support and encouragement to understand their symptoms and treatment options. Experience of working as an Endoscopy Nurse, IBS Nurse, Nutrition Nurse or Stoma would be advantageous. Experience or knowledge in either upper and/or lower gastrointestinal tract conditions would also be desirable. The Nurse Advisor will hold the clinical knowledgebase and experience in their allocated and chosen speciality as detailed above and would then case manage clients according to their requirements. The nurses will act as the clinical specialists assisting clients to make informed decisions regarding their health/treatments. This could relate to: • Providing treatment advice pre or post a confirmation of a diagnosis • Referral advice and liaising with various Consultants, external organisations and GP’s • Post treatment/surgery follow up • Acting as a central contact point throughout a client’s treatment process. This post is alongside a successful private organisation with a proven track record of high-quality and easy-access healthcare facilities and services. Therefore, we are searching for candidates that can provide an efficient service with a professional stance at all times. Corporate experience would be desirable but not essential. As this position is telephone based, strong communication skills are a must. In addition to a clear and professional telephone manner.
