As the Dental Trainer Assessor, your main responsibilities will include;
Inducting learners into our policy, procedures and assessment process
Coaching and assess learners on a one to one or group basis under national occupational standards.

Setting up and maintaining a course file for each session which includes course details, scheme of work and lesson plans and an attendance register.

Our Client is a leading manufacturer of emergency lighting equipment for the automotive industry with customers throughout the World. A combination of increased overseas orders and organisational changes to support the introduction of a new MRP system has led to the requirement for additional engineering staff to take responsibility for production planning, engineering design and product specifications/drawings.
The responsibilities for this challenging role will include:
creating and maintaining parts, bills of materials and routings for manufactured parts; technical liaison with manufacturing and our suppliers; product version control; maintaining item card information in our ERP system; designing bespoke lightbars using our in house product configurator; creating manufacturing drawings; resolving technical product issues.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced and HNC qualified electrical or mechanical engineer. Knowledge of small scale manufacturing, production planning, and inventory control is essential, as are good interpersonal skills combined with the confidence to work independently and a flexible approach to work. The ability to understand engineering drawings and specifications is important. Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems would be advantageous, failing this the candidate would be expected to show a good level of IT literacy and willingness to learn.
The role is based at their manufacturing facility on the outskirts of Coventry, so a vehicle owner would be ideal due to the remote location.
