WELDER FABRICATORS REQUIRED
WORKSOP
6 MONTHS WORK (possibly permanent or longer term.)
Regular days
Plenty of Overtime available at £15.00p/h.
My client who are based in the Worksop area are looking to recruit a number of Welder Fabricators.
Duties will include Welding and Fabrication in a workshop envionment and the welding will be carried out on commercial vehicles.
Candidates should be apprentuce trained/time served and be able to read from engineering drawings.
We have immediate starts available for candidates who are successful in their weld tests.

To oversee the systems and procedures used in the Health and Safety, Envionmental
and quality assurance systems are kept up to date.To ensure that the systems are inspected as required and that any shortfall or improvement
initiatives are flagged up to senior Managers for follow-up.
To provide support and training to the manufacturing on Q & HSE issues
Ensure the document control register is kept up to date and in-line with the corporate system
To carry out Health and Safety inspections
To carry out Environmental Inspections
To carry out process audits
To administer the process flow, PFMEA and control plan systems to ensure they are all
in line with each other and are relevant to current working practices.
To ensure that templates are set-up in the QS-Pro systems so each area can use these systems
To oversee the risk assessment process
To give training presentations to the shop floor on Health, Safety and Environmental overview
To support concern resolution activities - near miss, potential accident etc.
Ensure that waste transfer notes are appropriately handled and we have the details for all waste
contractors
Ensure the Environmental and H&S Legislation registers are kept up to date
Any other duties required by Manager within capabiliy.
REQUIREMENTS
NEBOSH General Certificate, preferable ONC / HND or equivalent
H&S background in manufacturing, ideally with QA & ENV systems
FMEA, G8D, Control Plans, ISO9001, TS16949, APQP, PPAP
Excellent computer skills with Excel, Word, Powerpoint.
Internal auditing experience
Environmental Experience
H&S systems knowledge
Knowledge and experience of SPC
