•Track record of technical knowledge and relevant design competency with regards to electrical / avionic systems design and integration (preferably into helicopters)

•Understanding of European, National and International regulatory authorities and aviation standards and codes of practice and procedures
•Understanding of system safety analysis
•CAD competent and computer literate in MS Office desktop applications

The main purpose of the Pool Manager is to work with the Customer Support team to co-ordinate the supply of engines, modules and accessories required for the UK clients. This is a growing department and a new role to the business. The emphasis remains to support the MRO activity with respect to technical queries, work-scopes and customer quotations. This is a role which reports directly to the Customer Support Director.

We understand from our client that we are resourcing for a commercial aware individual who has worked within a technical capacity and specifically has experience with gas turbine engine experience, preferably with helicopter engines. The salary and package is negotiable and competitive including a generous pension contribution.

Duties will include:

o Validating requests and booking available assets in the pool stock. If no asset available, to find a solution in conjunction with the overseas Pool team.
o To follow the status of the Material Booking Form.
o To monitor the data regarding assets and TMUK requests.
o To replenish the Pool stock when an asset has been shipped to a customer.
o Responsible for the level of stock iaw the sizing target.
o To maintain the required service rate for the Customer Support Team
o In order to insure the service rate, the Pool Manager has to follow the rules defined in the Corporate Pool Procedure
o Responsible for monitoring the return of counterparts and the consolidation of data once the customer request status is in Waiting Core return in Paris.
o Responsible to follow up the penalties regarding counterparts of the process and propose additional invoices to the Support team.
o To place Material Exchange requests
o To Co-ordinate the return of unserviceable cores from the maintenance network.

o To assist with day to day technical queries in the Front Office.

o To identify and validate, in cooperation with the overeas Pool, the level of repair (maintenance centre or repair centre) for the counterparts.
o To identify and validate workscope in accordance with the workshop under pool delegation (process to be defined) in accordance with Pool standards and protocols.

Ensuring technical quality and timely completion of design, coordinating plans and specifications with other disciplines.

Preparing technical specification and ensuring proper implementation of the quality control system.

Provide leadership, mentoring, guidance, supervision and motivation to design team.

To supervise Design Engineers, CAD Designers/Operators in producing design drawings.

Review design drawings and calculations produced by consultants and subcontractors.

To participate in design related discussions with other engineering disciplines and production department.

To conduct Site surveys as required.

Coordinate with production department of the design modifications issued by the Engineering department.

Provides updates on progress or Significant project issues to the manager.

What we require:

A relevant degree in Electrical design and demonstrable experience of working in multi-storey high value projects.

You will be proficient in Autocad.

Preference will be given to candidates who have previously worked in Saudi Arabia.
