The position is mainly to work with Key Stage 4 pupils but the flexibility to work across Key Stage 3 will also be expected from time to time. The school does not require an EBD specialist, personaility is the paramount factor to work effectively with some of the regions most disengaged learners. The successful applicant will have the enthusiasm and resilience to defuse challenging behaviour and push the pupils to their full potential. Vision For Education are looking to recruit Further Education (FE) Teachers to work in a variety of learning environments, ranging from colleges, community Centres to prisons within the local area.
The types of courses/lessons you will be asked to cover range from academic subjects Maths and English to vocational courses such as childcare, construcation and catering.
Depending on the subject you teach you would use a variety of teaching methods, such as tutorials and demonstrations.
