JOB OUTLINE:

• Reporting to the HR Manager and working with one additional HR Administrator, this job holder will be responsible for the administration of the company HR functions, recruitment administration, assisting with interviews, interpreting employee benefits and payroll requirements whilst ensuring adherence to company policies and UK employment legislation.
• Active liaison between the UK and the parent payroll office (overseas - English speaking) and the outsourced payroll provider (ADP - knowledge of this system/bureau highly desirable).
• Review and approve trial and final payroll reports for the monthly payroll, assistance with the quarterly reconciliation and preparation of year end reports.
• Knowledge and experience of communicating and implementing HR policies and advising on same.
• HR administration of a more general (reports, holiday/sickness records etc) nature and ad hoc duties assigned.

We are looking for an outstanding candidate with GOOD payroll legislation and HR knowledge combined with HR advisory and practical experience, strong communication and relationship building skills with a very CUSTOMER FOCUSSED approach.

APPLICANT REQUIREMENTS:

• ADP payroll experience (or similar package)
• HR generalist experience
• Proven administrator and data controller of data specific to HR
• Pride in your work and highly attentive to detail
• Degree or CIPD preferred (CPP or currently studying CIPD also acceptable) but proven work experience and ability is more important
• Able to start immediately (within 1 to 2 weeks MAX) and committed to an assignment lasting around 6 months

Role outline:

Role outline:

To directly control all H&S requirements on the Basingstoke sites. • leading in-house training with Managers/ Team Leaders and employees about health and safety issues;

• producing management reports, newsletters and bulletins;
• advising on H&S issues as required.
• You will be required occasionally to travel to other locations and due to the nature of your role, it may be necessary to work to tight deadlines which may occasionally require staying late or working outside normal working hours.

Minimum applicant requirements:

• Educated to degree level
• NEBOSH General Certificate (or currently in a similar role and studying towards same)
