Successful candidate: To be successful in the role of Press Toolmaker you will preferably be an apprentice-served Toolmaker, ideally with an ONC/HNC in Mechanical Engineering, with sufficient previous experience of press tools. The Proposals Engineer will also be tasked with interpreting order requirements to co-ordinate assignments and establish accountability for Engineering Project Materials, Quality Assurance, Credit, Procurement, Production, Shipping, Service and market team support staff as appropriate during the planning meetings. The successful candidate shall review customer purchase order amendments and / or additions and liaise with the appropriate department. Develop project costs, time estimates and production cost comparisons and select material commercial parts and technical data.
