The Role We are currently working in partnership with Leicestershire County Council to develop our service and have exciting opportunities for care and support workers to assist with the provision of care for children with disabilities, adults and older people in their home and in the community. We have a number of service users in the Coalville area who require urgent support. Families are also requiring support in other areas across Leicestershire. Full training and support is given to all workers. The Person - You will ideally have some relevant experience providing care to vulnerable service users - You must be comfortable assisting people with personal care tasks - You will ideally have experience working with individuals with learning disabilities, physical disabilities, mental health issues, medical conditions or dementia - You will be a patient, caring and compassionate individual who respects the dignity and diversity of our service users - You will be flexible and happy to work on a rota basis in order to meet the needs of our service users - You will be willing to participate in further training in order to develop your skills as a support worker - You will be a car driver and have access to your own vehicle All applicants will be required to attend a registration interview, provide a minimum of two referees and also have a new Enhanced DBS check completed. On behalf of our client, Connaught Resourcing are recruiting a Registered Manager to work within one of their homes based within Bedfordshire. The home caters for a small number of children who have social, emotional and behavioural needs and associated learning difficulties. This is a great opportunity for someone with excellent residential care experience to be able to influence the development of the home, manage a supportive staff team and become the registered care manager. The home is at a good standard and therefore we are looking for a registered manager who has experience of GOOD or Outstanding Ofsted gradings.
