They are currently producing a number of reports manually by pulling together information from a variety of systems. Therefore they require this process to be automated by bringing the data feeds into an in-house data mart and the reporting requirements automated and managed by the IT MI (Management Information) Team. The MI Data mart/Report Designer will be required to plan and design a functional data mart that will require the data to be structured to fit with the company's hierarchical dimensions, this will also include taking a daily extract feed from a 3rd party application. This will then have a Reporting Universe layered on top, which allows users access to the data but without any risk of damaging the underlying data and format the data so that it is presented in the way the business is used to seeing the data. The candidate will also be required to build a selection of reports in such a way that they can then be scheduled to run automatically on the relevant time requirements, i.e. weekly, per financial period etc.
