A superb opportunity has arisen for an ambitious claims handler to progress their career and join a recession resistant firm within the Investigations team based in Liverpool. As a result of this success, we are now looking to recruit a claims handler to join Parabis Investigations in Liverpool.
Your role will be to act as a link between the field-based team and the insurer/client to ensure quality, technical input and that SLAs are met. Key responsibilities include:
- Applying technical claims knowledge to the reporting process
- Coaching the field-based team, as required
- Handling investigation reports
- Ensuring compliance with the diary system
- Dealing with all queries from investigators and clients in an effective and efficient manner
- Dictating requisite covering letters/emails, highlighting areas of concern
Relevant experience in employers' liability and public liability is preferable; however, candidates with relevant motor claims experience will also be considered. You will have the ability to demonstrate advanced levels of organisational and planning skills, and be an excellent communicator.

You will have excellent communication and negotiations skills, and ideally a degree in Environmental Health, or a Higher Certificate in Food Premises Inspection along with additional H&S qualifications such as the NEBOSH certificate/diploma or IOSH managing safety certificate. Individuals who possess the CIEH Level 4 Award in Managing Food Safety in Catering or Managing Health and Safety in the Workplace together with other fire safety and risk assessment training would also be considered provided they have relevant inspection experience.
Fluency in a second language would be an advantage and a Current Driving Licence is required.
