An exciting opportunity has now arisen for a Health and Safety Manager to join their Operations team, based at the Head Office and carrying out frequent visits to the company’s site in Ecclesfield.
Reporting to the Operations Director, you will be responsible for the management of the company’s Health and Safety systems; recording information and meeting site-wide KPI targets as well as carrying out safety checks on site. You will also be responsible for the management of environmental issues and controls in line with ISO14001 standards.
In order to be successful in this role, it is essential that candidates have strong knowledge of the industry and processes and carry a NEBOSH Certificate. Coupled with knowledge of legislation and relevant codes of practice, you will have the ability to implement and work to principals of Construction Design Management. The successful candidate will have previous managerial experience and will have knowledge of management techniques, along with the confidence to enforce Health and Safety within the workplace. Candidates with environmental experience would be ideal for this role.
Due to the travel involved in this role, a full UK driving licence is a requirement. Candidates who hold a NEBOSH Diploma qualification would be highly desirable.

They currently have an opportunity available for a Tutor/Assessor in General Construction to join them to teach on Highways Maintenance and Groundwork’s programmes upto level 3, to deliver training in the classroom and assess in the workplace.
Within the role you will contribute to the development of new courses, undertaking tutorials, either one to one or group tutorial sessions, and assist with recruitment by interviewing, enrolling and inducting students. You must carry out all necessary administration related to the teaching programme and contribute to the teaching of the related curriculum, participating in the extra-curricular activities of the section.
Candidates for this role should hold a relevant academic qualification ideally to level 3 or equivalent coupled with a teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards this) and relevant highway maintenance and ground works experience is required. Relevant assessor experience and / or qualifications would be beneficial with the ability to establish appropriate relationships with students. Good administration and IT skills are essential, as is the ability to teach subject related curriculum up to level 3.
