Their National Contracts Team is seeking an experienced Manager to join them to take responsibility for the effective account management of their National Health & Social Care Apprenticeship delivery.
They are looking for a person with exceptional skills and qualities to manage a large team of nationally-based Training Advisers/Assessors and guide the continuing success and development of this important work. You will be accountable for the conduct and performance of staff and compliance with, and performance to contracts.
As a National Contracts Manager, you will support the shaping and development of their training contracts to ensure financial viability, giving staff the confidence and support they need to meet challenging targets. An ability to think ‘outside the box’ is essential.
You must already have management experience particularly in contract management, finance, and people management. Vocational experience in Retail would be advantageous. Additionally, you will possess knowledge of training in the work-based learning sector and current government agendas and you must be able to ‘hit the ground running’. You may have a management qualification or you may have picked up your management experience ‘in the field’.
Not frightened of a challenge, you will have a real understanding and ability to work with and relate to learners of various ages, backgrounds and challenging needs. You will recognise the importance of developing excellent relationships with employers and will be able to assist the National Contracts Operations Manager to maintain funding streams to support a range of programmes.
The successful candidate will be expected to travel extensively. Occasionally you may be required to stay overnight away from home.
