My client is looking to recruit an ambitious product support engineer to join their company whilst they enjoy a huge growth period.
Specialising in monitoring, my client's products are used worldwide to manage complex IT environments across multiple locations, delivering high availability, improved service levels and better management information - selling both direct and through approved resellers. The flagship product significantly extends the capabilities of Nagios Core.
As a product support engineer, you will support customers, maintain and project manage products and services, and assist with the support and maintenance of internal systems - including Linux servers, laptops running Microsoft Windows and Apple OS X, printers, and LAN.
The product support engineer will have knowledge of UNIX/Linux, as well as Apache and MySQL system administration fundamentals. Demonstrable experience of delivering exceptional technical advice both internally and externally is a necessity. Previous experience with Nagious software is advantageous to the product support engineer application, along with knowledge in at least one interpreted language - Perl, Python, Ruby etc.
If you have experience of working in first or second line support, possess excellent problem solving, conflict resolution, analytical, and communication skills, and are degree educated in Computer Science or Mathematics with a minimum of a 2:1, please apply now.
