Purpose:
1. Software design and modification management; managing software enhancements and new implementations of the company product.
2. Handle own workload and inform R&D Manager of any issues and delays promptly.
3. Diagnosis and solving customer membership issues and problems.
4. To perform other duties as directed by any Director of the company as may from time to time be required.
Level Of Responsibility:
1. To complete work within the timescales set and to the standards set.
2. To liaise with Mentor on a regular basis.
3. To provide updates on completed work to the R&D Manager.
4. To liaise with R&D Manager regularly, regarding progress and training requirements.
Essential requirements:
1. Coding ability to write new programs and edit existing code.
2. Java knowledge.
3. Basic web technologies including HTML and CSS
4. Fault finding within new or existing code.
5. Personable nature, with good telephone manner
6. Accurate, numerate & literate
7. Ability to work on, and use, own initiative
8. Willingness to undertake new projects, tasks & responsibilities and see them to completion
9. Keen to learn new skills
Preferable requirements:
1. Knowledge of databases and SQL
2. Knowledge of Ext JS framework
3. Tomcat administration knowledge
4. Basic knowledge of Jquery Mobile, Subversion, Sass and Compass

Mechanical & Electrical Maintenance Engineer
REPORTING TO: Works Supervisor
PRIMARY FUNCTION OF POSITION: Mechanical and electrical corrective/preventive maintenance and routine servicing of all equipment on site
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Breakdowns - repair of machines and equipment .
2. Carry out routine servicing and preventive maintenance.
3. Liaising with and arranging outside contractors, where appropriate.
4. Stock control of spare parts.
5. Liaising with suppliers and ordering parts where required.
6. Maintaining appropriate maintenance records.
7. Participation in maintenance review meetings
8. General / Miscellaneous maintenance duties

CONDITIONS
Hours of work – 6.00am – 2.00pm Mornings & 2.00pm – 10.00pm Afternoons.
The appointed person must be flexible as the position will involve call outs, weekdays and weekends.
Working week - 8 hour shift including 2 x 30 minute unpaid break = 7 hours X 5 days = 35 hour paid week
Overtime paid at 1.33
Company pension scheme available after 3 months of permanent employment, 10% non-contributory
