The Role
Reporting to the General Manager the role of Assistant Manager takes full responsibility for managing and overseeing all day to day site operations, including driving sales, controlling costs and waste and taking Duty Management responsibility when appropriate. Candidates will need to be consummate “people people” possessing a natural ability to lead and motivate their team, excellent customer facing skills and the desire to offer simply the very highest standards of customer care. Working in the companys number one store also requires that the candidates applying to be Assistant Manager are happy in a role with considerable responsibility and where the everyday pressures are magnified by the profile of the site. This is the largest site of it's kind in Europe, a great place to both make a mark and be noticed.
The Candidate
Applicants will need management experience gained within the hospitality, entertainment, leisure or retail industries and have a proven track record of delivery in very demanding conditions and environments. Candidates will need to be superbly well organised Managers or Assistant Managers who are comfortable making business critical decisions and have extremely high standards, great attention to detail and most importantly, have the ability to communicate their passion and requirements to their team. With a desire to promote internal talent wherever possible and an expansion program that will ensure future career opportunity, individuals will also be ambitious and keen to progress beyond the role immediately available.

The Role
As a Retail Assistant Manager you will take specific responsibility within the store.
