- Responsible for production output, discipline, timekeeping and housekeeping in the assembly area taking responsibility for Health and Safety requirements.

Skills/knowledge/competency
HVAC Mechanical Engineering knowledge/experience is a must for this role, as is working understanding of MRP systems. Some Team Leader/Supervisory experience would be beneficial, however not essential. Rail Industry experience is not essential for this position, but would be welcomed.

An urgent requirement has arisen for Cost Engineers/Quantity Surveyors to join a major project on a nuclear power station in the South West of England.
We are looking for experienced Cost Engineers/ Quantity Surveyors with a strong background in nuclear power station projects (operations, maintenance, new build or decommissioning). The Cost Engineer will work with bid managers, estimating and procurement team involved in providing contractual and commercial input to the project.
Responsibilities:
• Involved in works of maintenance to the old nuclear station, decommissioning and new build operations
• Close liaison with the Procurement team to ensure suitable enquiry packages are issued
• To present tender submissions
• To play a full role in contract negotiations
• To be able to appreciate and undertake post contract commercial duties if necessary
• Reviews of terms and conditions and other ITT documentation
• Preparation of qualifications, clarifications and limitations (commercial memorandum)
• Articulate - excellent written communication and numerate
• Proactive with a proactive positive attitude
• Flexibility to travel to other UK offices and sites on occasion if necessary

The ideal candidate will be:
• Degree qualified
• Ideally accredited to an appropriate professional body
• PC literate
• Strong previous engineering experience, preferably in nuclear environment

We have an immediate requirement for a number of Intermediate Quantity Surveyors to support an international consultancy firm in London.
The Quantity Surveyors are required to start as soon as possible, initially for six months, on a rolling renewable basis.
The candidates must have strong experience in design and build stage, fit out and refurbishment for high-rise commercial buildings.
