An opportunity is available for a Project Support Engineer to support the management of change across several Business units and discreet work packages.

Our client, based near South Coventry are looking to recruit a talented and experienced Rotor dynamics Design Engineer to support the development of advanced prototype components for Electric Turbo chargers.
You will be familiar with rotor dynamic theory, vibration analysis, and design and test of rotating machinery. You will be required to work with suppliers to optimise your designs for manufacturability, weight, and performance.
Roles and Responsibilities -
You must be familiar with Rotor dynamic Simulation Software.
You will have a strong theoretical grounding in Mechanical Engineering and Mathematics. You will be comfortable evaluating and documenting your designs, showing aptitude in engineering analysis and written language. You must have significant experience in developing bearings / bearing suspension systems. You must have experience of high speed balancing and precision manufacturing techniques.
Experience of rotor dynamic testing tools and techniques is essential.
A working knowledge of high speed shaft seals and bearing lubrication is highly advantageous.
The right candidate will have a broad understanding of mechanical systems and be comfortable with independent problem solving, test rig design, and data analysis. You must be able to manage your own workload and demonstrate a conscientious, results driven attitude to work. Working in a small team of specialists will involve applying a wide range of skills sometimes outside your primary area of expertise. This role spans both design and test disciplines, and will require adaptability, creativity, and an appetite for continuous learning. A suitable candidate must be at least a degree qualified engineer or equivalent with professional experience.
The Package The salary range is £30000 -£37000 depending on experience.
A company share options scheme may be available based on exceptional performance.

Our client a leading supplier to the Defence Industry are looking to appoint a Logistics Planning Engineer based in Rosyth on a contract basis.
Duties / Role to include:
1. Maintaining and updating the MS Platform Commissioning Schedule, and ensuring alignment with the ACA Integrated Programme Schedule. 2. Providing on-site Logistics support to the MS Logistics Manager. 3. Ensuring alignment of MS Equipment Demands (from the MS Platform Commissioning Schedule) and MS Equipment Supply (from the MS EDP & ACA BOM). 4. Provide clear reporting of equipment supply/demand & exception reports to enable remedial action to be undertaken where necessary.
Principal Tasks and Responsibilities: * MS Logistics/Planning Engineer will report to the Logistics Manager and will provide a service for the MS Platform Commissioning & ITEA team, the lead Equipment Engineers, and ACA Commissioning Planning teams. * Work alongside the MS Platform Commissioning Manager & Team to ensure a coherent and robust MS Platform Integration & Commissioning schedule within the overall ACA Programme. * To act as a central point in MS Logistics and stock movement at the ACA Integration Yard. * Work with the MS Logistics Manager & MS Platform Commissioning Manager to ensure alignment of MS Equipment Delivery Plan with the detailed MS Platform Commissioning Schedule; to ensure there is complete alignment with the equipment that is being delivered, when it is being delivered and who is installing it. * Play a pivotal role in assessing changes to MS Commissioning or Build schedules, therefore being able to provide information to the MS Logistics & MS ITEA teams to ensure continued optimisation of time & resource during the programme execution. * Work with the MS Logistics Manager to ensure that the correct monitoring and reporting of equipment delivery is available to ensure MS achieve their delivery obligations to the shipyards. * Work with MS Logistics Mgr/ITEA/Shipyard and MS Subcontractors to ensure that MS equipment is delivered where & when required. * Provide visibility to all stake holders of changes to equipment delivery dates resulting from programme change. * To work with the warehouse and the Maintenance team to be able to identify items that have been delivered and therefore which items we are required to maintain whilst on Platform. * The MS Logistics/Planning Engineer must be a UK national (because of ITAR issues). * To be able to work within a team and contribute to the team goals by taking on additional duties as necessary. Experience & Capabilities: Essential * Excellent communications skills and be able to work across a number of functions within QEC, across the supplier base and with the shipyards. * Thorough understanding of planning and scheduling methodology. * Competent use planning tools and preferably knowledge of MS Project and Primavera P6 ~ training will be available where necessary. * Detailed knowledge of ship building integration or commissioning an advantage. * A proactive and "can do" approach. * Some occasional visits to the ACA Central warehouse, MS Frimley, QEC test facilities and suppliers will be required. * Able to understand both software and hardware elements of a system to support schedule maturation. * Experience of liaising within the team and with suppliers on Logistic issues. Our client a leading supplier to the Defence Industry are looking to appoint a Senior Design Engineer HVAC - Naval Ships based in Glasgow.
The Senior Engineer, HVAC will be part of a team undertaking development and analysis of the HVAC system solution through Stage 1 Design including Main Gate submission and to the point of entry into Stage 2 Design.
Key Technical Skills: The role holder will require a wide knowledge of HVAC, and Naval Ship design experience in order to fulfil this role. Stage 1 design activities will require an ability to undertake detailed system calculations, develop 2D schematics and lead the technical aspects of supplier ITTs by creation Technical Equipment specifications and Scopes of Work.
The role holder will be required to carry out solution appraisal along with technical assessment of suppliers' proposals in development of the design solution. There will be a particular focus on providing solutions which minimise Through Life Costs whilst remaining within the Wholeship target Unit Purchase Cost. The project is adopting cutting edge technologies and an understanding and capture of the risks associated with these will be required.
Extensive ships HVAC system design experience.
Qualifications:
*Degree in Building Services/ Marine Engineering (preferred) *HND and relevant experience in lieu.

1.Produce system specification documents and develop / document solutions to meet the specification including undertaking system performance calculations.
2.Produce Technical Equipment Specifications for the equipment within area of responsibility.
3.Develop system diagrams (schematics) detailing the design of the system.

The New Product Introduction Engineers (NPI) will be responsible for all aspects of the quality Planning and development for their assigned customers, projects or products. The aspects of assurance are detailed in the primary duties.
Responsibility:
The NPI Engineer is responsible for ensuring that all elements of APQP, Beon or other customer systems are completed within the time frame as defined in the master project plan. The work to be completed and the timing will be defined within the quality system procedures and processes.
Summary of Duties:
NPI engineers work along side the project manager and within the project team, they ensure the aspects of quality are addressed for new projects, they ensure all documentation as defined within the company process and procedures is completed on time, before handing it over the SQAE. The work with supplier on APQP of purchase parts for their new projects and supplier part quality. They check the quality of out going parts at pre-production stages and hand over to the production team.
