THE ROLE
We are looking for an experienced Software Quality Assurance and Validation Engineer to work in a medium sized organisation based in South Yorkshire.
The main purpose of the role is to ensure that the quality of software developed within the Company fulfils customer expectations and the requirements of relevant internal and external Standards.
PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES:
To ensure that the Company's software development process is followed, and the work products are of high quality by:
* Promotion of the Company's software development process and of best practice.
* Planning and execution of internal and external audits of the development process.

* Planning of, and acting as moderator of, walkthroughs and reviews of software project work products.

* Administration of and assistance in the use of the computer aided software-engineering tools.

As a secondary accountability, to assist as time allows in the validation of software by:
* Writing comprehensive test plans.
* Performing thorough software testing.
In addition:
* Contribute effectively to team working within the Company and with customers.
* Give timely, effective support to the customer?s needs so that the customer does not express dissatisfaction.
* Provide effective technical support to the satisfaction of manufacturing departments on relevant design matters relating to products being introduced into, or already in, production, e.g. supporting PPAP, APQP and FMEA.
* Provide technical support relating to the software development process to Sales and Marketing to assist in the acquisition of new business.
* Ensure full commitment and support for training, succession planning, recruitment, communications, health and safety, environmental considerations, housekeeping and personal discipline.
JOB SCOPE
The job requires team working with many other departments within the organisation, locally and internationally, and with various departments at customers.
The jobholder may also be given responsibility for software quality assurance of projects in other countries, but will always be based at the companies base in South Yorkshire.
The job will involve some periods (duration to be agreed) of on-the-job training in Germany.
The job will involve occasional foreign travel.
Customer contact will be technical (not involving commercial matters), at engineer through to senior management level.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Education; one of the following is essential:
* Degree in a subject relevant to Electronics or Software Engineering.
* HND/HNC with significant relevant embedded software and electronics experience.
Work experience; the following is essential:
* Professional experience in the field described by this job description.
* Knowledge of software development process methods & standards (e.g. Spice/ISO15504).
* Experience of writing software in "C". Knowledge of good practice in the use of "C".
* Ability to use Microsoft Office applications.

THE ROLE
Our prestigious client based in West Yorkshire, are looking for Time Served, apprentice trained CNC Turners (Programmer / Setter / Operators) - using FANUC controls.
The work will involve producing both medium batch and bespoke components.
THE HOURS
You will work a rotating shift - 6am to 2pm and 2pm to 10pm (Monday to Friday)
THE PAY
You will earn a rate of £11.0 / hour.

We are looking for Injection Mould Setters to work in the Doncaster area.
THE ROLE:
* Carry out tool changes and set ups as directed
* Ensure maximum machine utilisation and production of quality products
* Comply with operating disciplines, practices, procedures and documentation, to assure that machinery and equipment deliver quality product efficiently.
* Monitor machine and equipment utilisation, output and efficiencies, personally take corrective actions as necessary and recommend improvements to ensure department meet targets set in annual departmental business plan.
* Carry out own machine safety checks to set schedules to give confidence to other users.
* Support group leaders and cross functional teams with quality concerns by developing and implementing corrective action plans for process concerns to improve product PPM?s and close 8D problem reports.
* Assist in the training of up and coming setters and aid the education of operators.
* Ensure full commitment and support for training, succession planning, recruitment, communications, health and safety
* ONC or industry equivalent (BPTA Level3) in an Injection Moulding discipline (Essential).
* At least 2 years experience in a high volume high quality environment is essential.
THE HOURS:
Various shift patterns are available (including nights and days).
THE PACKAGE:
The Salary will be £26,000 to £29,000 (depending on shift patterns) plus benefits.

We are looking for a Maintenance Electrician to work in the in the plastics industry in the West Yorkshire area.
THE ROLE
You will be an apprentice trained Maintenance Electrician, with a 16th or 17th Edition qualification and will have experience of working within the FMCG manufacturing industry.
You will be responsible for maintaining machinery and process equipment. Also PPM's (Planned Preventative Maintenance)and project work.
THE HOURS
Days role - 7.30am to 4.00pm (Monday to Friday).
THE PACKAGE
