The ideal candidate will have the following skills, experience and qualifications;
• BA/BSc (Hons) degree. (degree in any subject if related to HR that would be beneficial but not essential)
• Part qualified member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development.
• Sound experience working in a generalist HR role (ideally within a hi-tech/technology environment or a scientific industry but not essential, what is essential is generalist HR experience)
• Significant experience of recruitment and selection, including excellent interviewing skills.
• Good knowledge of UK employment legislation.
• Excellent IT skills, including experience of working in Word and Excel (ideally also having experience of database work and presentation packages)
