The Company
My client is a specialist systems integrator based in Woking, Surrey. As an award winning independent company, they are split in to several key business areas including Security, Virtualisation, Infrastructure, Collaboration, Security and Mobile Data.
They have been delivering fully project managed solutions based upon their core competencies for over 15 years. They have been profitable since inception and hold an A1 credit raring with Dun & Bradstreet.
The Role
My client wishes to recruit an enthusiastic, motivated and experienced Security sales person who wants to join our exceptional team of IT professionals. The candidate must have a good working knowledge of the IT security marketplace, and a good understanding of security technologies i.e. Firewall, IPS, Web Filtering, End Point security etc.
In particular, the key objective is to work alongside Account Managers within existing customers and new prospects, to provide high level, strategic “fit for business” security solutions.
A working knowledge of PCI-DSS and ISO27001 standards would be beneficial.
The Person
In order to succeed in this role it is essential that you have the following skills and experience
- 3-6 years relevant reseller sales experience.
- Sound knowledge and experience in firewall technologies, Web content technologies, Anti Virus, and SSL VPN solutions is important.
- Good understanding of Fortinet, TippingPoint, Microsoft (Celestix/ISA), Websense, and Cisco technology is an advantage.
- An understanding of end point security solutions (Lumension and Safeboot) is an advantage
- An understanding of ISO27001, BCP and PCI-DSS is a definite advantage.
- Excellent analytical, problem solving, written and oral communication skills.
- Must have energy, drive, commitment & passion.
- Team player with strong interpersonal skill and ability to complete tasks with minimum supervision.
The Package
Basic to £50k & Car Allowance & Uncapped OTE – Realistic Earnings £80-100k & Medical & Pension
