Role:
On the road UK wide sales (minimum of 5 appointments per day)
Focussing particularly on growth of UK Merchant sales and new end user business
Providing informative visit reports and technical information so that quotations can be issued
Demonstration of products
Training of UK Merchants representatives
Maintaining excellent customer relations
Supported by dedicated in-house staff (visits are booked in-house)
Manning of exhibition stands including build up and break down
Requirements:
Machine shop experience and understanding of modern manufacturing techniques essential
Sales experience not essential ideally we would like someone from the shopfloor looking to move into sales
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Clean driving licence
Package:
£23,000 to £27,000 basic depending on experience + commission OTE £40,000+

Duties:
To provide secretarial and administrative support to the Management team
Purchasing activities include obtaining quotes, dealing with suppliers, raising of purchase requisitions, receipting of goods, processing of invoices and maintaining records
Assembly of monthly management reporting packs
Performing switchboard duties
Distribution of post, includes arranging special deliveries/collections
Experience of Word processing, Excel spreadsheets and PowerPoint presentations
Compilation of monthly employee timesheets and labour accrual sheets
Maintaining stationary levels and supplies
Arranging travel bookings, accommodations and visas etc ensuring that a detailed itinerary is supplied
