Our client is an established Landscape company working within the London area. Working with both domestic and commercial clients. They are developing a fast expanding commercial maintenance department and consequently we are looking to recruit for them.

This is a “hands on” position to work both within the domestic and commercial landscape sectors. High-end clientele!
This role will include both soft planting and maintenance

PA1 and PA6A Spraying certificates preferable

EPOS MANAGER (40 hours Mon-Fri)
Our client is a prestigious group of Garden Centres, based UK wide. They now require an EPOS Manager for a site in Cheshire. The role will be to work closely with the Centre Manager and Department Heads to drive the business forward by increasing profitability and sales using their EPOS, and reporting systems!
Your responsibilities will include:-
* Goods in (stock control)
* Tills, (working closely with the Till Supervisor, ensuring accuracy with sales.
* Furniture – ensuring that BOMs (beginning of month) are set up accurately!
* Promotions – are set up correctly, including multibuys,, providing a report to Department Heads every 2 months.
* Rotationals – Stock Counts are controlled, working with Head Office on requirements, working with centre manager, ensuring sufficient teams are available to ensure correct stock count!
* Storage area/warehouse. Ensure this is maintained and kept in order.
* Purchase/ordering. Training staff on sales/purchase reports, report over ordering, keep a health stock valuation figure, ensure spreadsheets are filled and the PO system remains efficient. Running PO status summary report weekly, emailing PO allocations on day of receipt!
* Return Goods Notes/Credit stock uplifts – all credit requests and supplier stock uplifts processed as a returned goods note (RGN)
* Invoicing Matching – Responsible for the invoice team, to check all invoices
DAILY DUTIES
* Start of day – ensure start of day is run on daily basis, that this working from HO
* End of day – ensure end of day is run on a daily basis
* Batch prices updates – Collect batch cost price updates every morning. Check batch retail price updates every morning

The Contract Manager is required to work as a team member and will be reporting solely to the Directors. They will be supported by the Office Manager, Administration Assistant and the Accounts department.
Key responsibilities are as follows (non exhaustive list):
· Hand-over meeting from estimating to construction
· Pre-contract meeting with client
· Check all drawings/quotes are up to date
· Check site measures
· ISO/QA/H+S file to include the working file, job cards etc
· Product project programme

· Developing subcontract and direct labour force database
· Ensure workforce are dressed correctly (ie uniform), have all appropriate PPE, fill out contract forms correctly all personnel requirements
· Evaluation, instruction and enforcement of health and safety
· Manage all vehicles/equipment/stores/equipment log maintaining
· Stock control – reintroduction of stock in and out control. To be confirmed
· Maintain control of site fuel/mobile phones and general miscellaneous
expenses in conjunction with Sally Hanham/Niki Hill.
The contract manager will be responsible for the contract teams which will consist of the site manager (when required on large projects), the site foreman, craftsmen and operatives. These may be directly employed or subcontracted, or a combination of both. The contract manager will be responsible for ensuring the team is motivated and is working efficiently and safely to programme, budget and targets.
The contract manager will also be expected to promote the company and assist with marketing while carrying out his daily duties.
It is the company’s intention that the Contracts Managers Job Description will be jointly developed and evolve as necessary.
The contract manager will be provided with:
· Mobile phone for company use.
· Fuel card for company use.
· Company vehicle for company use.
