Are you a Service Manager who takes pride in the quality of service work produced by your team? Do you think you always reach the highest standards demanded by your service customers? Do you want to lead the Service department of an unrivalled market leader, boasting a fantastic working environment, and commitment to the highest quality of service and workmanship?
If you have answered YES to the above then my client should be speaking to you about leading the team as Service Manager within their purpose built, busy and efficient dealership.
It is expected that the ideal Service Manager will come from one of the following sectors: Grounds care, Agricultural Machinery, Motorcycle or Automotive.
As an experienced Service manager you will be recognised as a strong man-manager, able to demonstrate the ability to lead, motivate and develop teams of technicians. Used to working autonomously you are confident in making decisions and have developed a deep understanding of the commercial side of the service department. Although technically knowledgeable in such things as hydraulics, electrics and diesel mechanics the successful Service Manager will also be able to deliver the highest levels of customer service, both personally and through management.
This is an exciting and unique role within a true market leader. Established around 40 years ago this family run dealership has been providing the highest quality of service and product within the garden machinery, grounds care and horticultural sectors locally and indeed nationally.
This high profile business is a true innovator and has recently invested considerable amounts into the aftersales infrastructure and is not shy of spending more to help improve efficiency and service.
The Service Manager position is a key responsibility with the dealership's retail division and contributes significantly to the bottom line. Leading a team of 8 highly trained technicians and administrative staff the Service Manager is solely responsible for delivering success through efficiency and customer service. The Service Manager enjoys a large degree of autonomy with freedom to implement change across the department.
For the right candidate this is a fantastic opportunity with potentially great reward against performance plus the chance to take on board level responsibilities within this successful growing business.
Relocation assistance will be happily considered for the right candidate.
A basic salary from £40,000 plus performance related bonus and benefits including pension and life insurance is offered.
