Position Summary:
Responsible for the Quality Assurance function within the Quality group. Manage day to day activities with the QA group and provide guidance and assistance to the QA team Develop positive relationships and work closely with Operations to ensure that products and processes meet quality expectations. Manage the Quality Management processes ensuring systems are aligned with BPP facilities and Regulatory requirements. Additional duties will include but are not limited to the following:
* Manage the batch release process from PCD and label generation through to final release of products.
* Oversee the electronic documentation system and act as a QA approver
* Coordinate and maintain a system for data trending and statistical analysis of the Quality Management System data.
* Manage the internal & external quality audit program ensuring audit schedules are adhered to, reports are closed out in a timely manner and assigned actions are completed.
* Manage and deliver the company's cGMP training program.
* Oversee the supplier quality program & assist the Quality Manager with the implementation of quality agreements for critical suppliers.
* Assist the Quality Manager to host customer audits ensuring any corrective actions associated with these audits are closed in a timely manor
* Assist the Quality Engineering group with Customer Complaints.
* Deputise in the absence of the Quality Manager in relation to Quality Assurance-related matters only.
Preferred education & experience
Degree in a Scientific based subject and working experience within a quality-related environment within the Pharmaceutical\Biotech or Engineering Industry
