Our client is seeking a Sales Order Shipping Co-ordinator to join their busy team.
The purpose of the role is to accurately input customer sales orders on SAP. The review, schedule and advise delivery dates for all customers orders and ensure the the appropriate documentation is raised to support the dispatch of all national and international shipments.
Duties include: To analyse all incoming customer delivery requests and orders, and to provide the product line delivery forecasts or dates based on stock or planned stock availability.
To ensure that all orders placed are acknowledged back to the Customer (Internal or External) in a timely manner.
To work with Production Planners to establish Supply lines, product build requirements and planned stock availability dates based on material and manufacturing capacity availability, matching the order or forecast order requirements.
To receive and review all Associate and OEM orders to ensure they are acceptable in content prior to data entry.
To enter all customer orders (including component orders) onto the SAP Sales Order Processing System ensuring all queries are adequately resolved or referred to the Manager and/or internal sales companies for order clarification and resolution prior to order entry.
To compile the necessary national, EU and international shipping and dispatch documentation to meet the appropriate import/export requirements as applied by each world region, Customer and the courier to be used.
To liaise with end user customers to resolve and advise on shipping queries with respect to date shipped, carrier and consignment tracking advice details.
To complete appropriate financial documentation as may be required for order fulfilment including Letters of Credit, etc.
For the update and filing (computer and manual) of all order entry and dispatch documentation, for optimum retrieval for referral needs.
To provide continuous support and liaison to all aspects of delivery forecast, order entry, product dispatch and customer receipt queries.
To compile Statistical reports based on order fulfilment and On Timed Delivery as may be required in an Excel spreadsheet format.
To contribute, be involved and actively support the continuous improvement and quality processes within every facet of the organisation.
The successful candidate will have SAP and MS knowledge and have good customer service experience within a supplier/manufacturer environment. A 2nd European language would also be an advantage but not essential.

An fantastic opportunity has arisen with our Luton based client for a Sales Planning Co-ordinator to join heir busy team.
The position will be reporting into the demand flow manager and will be responsible for maintaining the sales forecast data and aligning forecasts to budget. The job holder will be expected to communicate with product line, the factories and other areas of the supply chain to achieve the optimum flow of product from the factories to either the customer or UK distribution centre. The job holder must able to liaise effectively at all levels, have a good eye for detail and a thorough understanding of the product range/market as well as a good understanding of forecasting techniques.
The successful candidate will have good IT skills especially in Excel and able to analyse data. They will have done demand planning and preferably used SAP (although not essential but would be a strong advantage). They will be a strong character and have confidence in their abilities, they will be resourceful and self sufficient.
This is a planning role, not an analyst position. Experience of dealing with companies in the far East would also be a strong advantage.
