DescriptionRegister your CV We are looking for an experienced cleaner to join one of our clients. Working within a small team of three, main duties will include cleaning, handling cleaning chemicals and the safe use of cleaning equipment.

You will be responsible for cleaning within a designated area of our factory, washing, sweeping, vacuum cleaning, emptying litter bins, polishing and dusting areas and fixtures and fittings. Areas will include offices, our clean-room environment, corridors, toilets and canteen. Duties also include ensuring clean room stock is kept at sufficient levels - e.g. gloves, facemasks, suits, tacky mats, clean room wipes, etc.

The role also requires the use of special protective equipment, i.e. facemasks, clean room suits, gloves, goggles, etc.

Experience of using buffers, knowledge of Health & Safety, COSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health) and colour coding systems desired.

You must be able to work on your own initiative, have good attention to detail and work to a high standard. Basic IT skills an advantage since you will be required to log work completed. A friendly, outgoing personality along with the ability to work as part of a team and a flexible approach to work are essential.
