Reporting to the Sales Director, this position has responsibility for booking qualified appointments and new business opportunities for the Commercial Sales team. It will also provide the sales team with pro-active sales support. There will be no "cold- calling" involved in this position, you will respond to inbound enquiries, contact existing customers of the business and further develop on that existing relationship and you will also be working closely with the marketing department in order to establish a "target" database and agree on the appropriate action plan for potential clientele. Reporting to the Shift Manager the purpose of the role is to ensure customer requirements are met whilst taking into account all aspects of Health, Safety, Environment and Quality Duties will include: *All activities and operations to be carried out with appropriate controls, supervision and monitoring so as prevent potential hazards *Operation and control of the various plant processes (HDE / PMB) Using the parameters detailed in current Process Flow Charts (PFC) Using DCS to monitor and control flows, temperatures and pressures Completion of in-process and finished QC testing in line with defined PFC Communication of any issues with Shift Manager Accurate recording of all process activities and results in relevant logs and batch sheets *Monitoring and transferring of stock and finished products *Effective documentation of all activities in line with companies documented processes. *Management of drivers, contractors or other "visiting personnel" when on their particular area *Effective participation in shift handovers *Reporting of faults to Shift Manager and assisting with remedial actions as required *Maintain housekeeping standards throughout the area and undertake planned inspections *Actively participate in the upkeep of the Company's requirements for the maintenance of accreditation to relevant Safety, Environmental and Quality systems. *Reporting of Near Misses, Incidents, Safety concerns and Quality concerns *Comply with company regulations / standards with particular regard to HSEQ Candidates must have previous plant experience within a similar role.
