-To receive, sort, distribute and collect internal and external mail, including letters, parcels and recorded mail via the main post room.
-Provide the exchange, transfer and testing of portable medical gas cylinders and document a record -f the usage. Report any identifiable faults.
-Undertake driving duties as necessary in accordance with service needs.
-Working in Excessive temperatures with unpleasant smells/odours
-Dealing with foul linen, Unpleasant substances/clinical waste, infectious material.

Liaise with suppliers and service providers
Required Experience:
A knowledge of ATEX and the associated BS EN standards associated with the safe installation and maintenance of electrical equipment.
A sound working knowledge of the following;
*Electricity at work Regulations
*IEE wiring regulations (BS7671)
*Working knowledge of 3 Phase Distribution
*Knowledge of VSD's and MCC's
*SHE and Plant Engineering regulations and procedures
*Microsoft Word, Excel and Maintenance Management system.
*Ability to read and identify component on loop and schematic drawings
*Compex Training Accredited (GVL & Dust) would be highly desirable
The ideal Candidate will possess the following skills:
*High levels of attention to detail and be quality conscientious
*Fault finding and problem solving skills
*Detailed Knowledge of modern Instrumentation systems
*Have a flexible approach to working.
*High level of SHE awareness
*Be able to communicate effectively orally and via written reports
*First class Team working
You will need to be willing to work flexibly over extended hours and weekends at times, and be willing to be part of a call out rota for out of hours issues
A full driving license is essential for this role.
Educated to HNC level or equivalent in Electrical or instrument Engineering.
Experience of working on a chemical plant would be highly advantageous, and will ideally have served a relevant engineering apprenticeship.
