We are currently recruiting for a Logistics Coordinator to be responsible for the expediting of equipment, services and information from the procurement phase up to and including shipment to site. The role also includes the development of processes, procedures and documentation both within the internal and external environments. One of the integral parts of this role is the coordination and management of suppliers, subcontractors with respect to equipment delivery/shipment up to the point of release for shipment confirmation. You will be responsible for coordination with freight forwarders and internal/external shipping and logistic functions, management of appropriate databases. generation and management of packing lists, case labels and appropriate insurance liaison and claims management. The ideal candidate will have an understanding of Engineering basics with sufficient experience in expediting and management of logistics, and will also have experience in site activities in industrial projects.
