Groomfield Recruitment are currently looking for a Quality Control Inspector for a well established company based in Canley, Coventry.
Ideal Candidates:
Be responsible for the inspection and product evaluation of components for the Automotive, Aerospace and defence industries to ensure no defective parts reach the customer.
Inspection activities to include First Offs, In Process Checks, Last offs, using a programmable CMM, (PCDMIS), Vernier Callipers, Height Gauges, Micrometers, Depth gauges, Dial Gauges, etc
Inspection to be conducted against CAD models, engineering drawing and customer specifications.
The applicant will also be required to generate First article inspection reports using Microsoft office applications, such as Word and excel.
Raising Non conformance reports where inspected items are not to specification, Liaise both Internally and occasionally with Customers to ensure Quality Concerns are effectively dealt with in a timely manner.
The Applicant should be able to work on their own initiative, scheduling work to meet the required deadlines.
Applicants will be expected to demonstrate the ability to use the equipment stated above, plus the ability to “read” engineering drawings.

Groomfield are currently looking for an experienced Press Tool Setter, to set presses from 10 ton to 110 ton using Servo roll feeds and air feeds.
The ideal candidate will have experience in setting secondary operations and be able to change strokes on presses to accommodate tooling.
Experience of setting materials from 0.2mm up to 6mm on Servo feeds and power feeds is essential.
You must be able to read component drawings and be ROSPA Certified.
The position would suit someone who is used to setting at least 8 presses per day, dealing with short run batches and ensuring the next tool is set in the shortest time.
Counterbalance FLT licence is Advantageous. Temporary - Perm contract.
40 hours per week.
