Work with external Suppliers to achieve successful outcome. • Compile and prepare monthly reports related to Quality and Sourcing Department • Develop, maintain and complete Inspection and Test Plan’s as required. • Develop, maintain and implement appropriate processes and procedures to control the quality of the products and to provide innovative solutions to ongoing problems. • Liaise with stakeholders to develop and implement work instructions for Company products. • Identify training requirements as required and input into updating build instructions. • International and local travel will be a requirement of the job. Essential Criteria: • Third level qualification or equivalent • Strong analytical skills, demonstrated understanding of continuous quality / process improvement tools • Demonstrated experience in developing and presenting using word processing, spread- sheet, and presentation software. • Experience in dealing with external Suppliers from quality aspect. The successful candidate will be required to assist the Product Engineer with the support of a hand held electronic instrumentation and devices by performing the following duties: • Assist in the upkeep of all documents assigned to the Product Engineer: o Design History file o Specifications o Bill of materials o Technical Drawings o Schematics • Assist in liaising with third party companies for the purpose of supporting the Instrument: o Manufacture o Suppliers o Regulatory bodies • Assists Product Engineer in: o researching new components o collecting data required for changes o FMEA & RA evaluations o Assisting with implementation of change with 3rd parties o Performing validation testing ( protocol generation / execution and reporting) • Assists in providing validation data for changes affecting the NG platform o Assists in creating Validation protocol o Performs testing o Creates test reports o FMEA • Assistance to Service centres to maintain the instrument as required. • Assists with circuit analysis & circuit debugging of hardware improvements / developments Successful Candidate will: • Be a qualified and experienced Electronics Engineer • Have Design experience with handheld mobile devices and their life cycle management. • Ideally have experience of instruments certified to EN 61010 • Preferably have some knowledge and understanding of instrumentation based on photon detection although not essential. Client does require a time served individual with previous experience with setting and operating, can be physical work, temp to perm contract Candidate must be about to use venires and read engineering drawings. Machine that you will be setting and operating is a Bystronic 320 Tonne CNC. Starting rate will be £8 or £9/hr. depending on previous experience – after a few weeks if you can prove ability and able to be left on their own then they will be given shift allowance meaning you can be paid £10 or £11/hr. 37 and a half hours per week.
