Our client, a well known brand, based in the heart of the West End currently has a new position for an Accountant to join this organisation.
You will have experience of working in a small integrated company where flexibility is vital and able to multi-task as well as being a positive team player.
You will be responsible for all accounting and admin duties on a day to day basis and report into the Directors/Company Secretary.
You will act as bookkeeper/cashier/purchase and sales ledger clerk/payroll officer and all admin related duties. You will also be proficient in Sage Line 50 for accounting and payroll functions.
You will produce month end reports promptly and accurately.
Maintain relationships with the Bank arranging monies and transfers.
Manage all aspect of HMRC, VAT, Corporation Tax and Companies House.
Manage day to day cash flow
Maintain all filing and back up data.
Maintain database for stock control, job and order tracking.
You will have solid accounting and financial background including a broad range of skills such as debtor management, banking practices and computers.
Ability to use Sage Line 50 as well as MS Office
Sound knowledge of VAT
Able to work in a small close knit team

THIS ROLE IS SPECIALISING IN POLICIES / EMPLOYMENT LAW & PROJECT MANAGEMENT
Our client, a leading charitable organisation, based in the City currently has a new role for Senior HR Manager specialising Policy & Procedures/Employment Law and Project Management. This is a one year contract. You will work closely with the Corporate side of the business and liaise with the business centre in Peterborough. You will be an expert in employment law and responsible for updating policies and procedures as well as project management. You will have a can do attitude as well as being resilient.
Area of the role will cover:
Provide expert advise on employment law and the companies people policies. Reviewing and developing.
Evaluate the effectiveness of these policies across the business.
Ensure the policies reflect best practice and are in line with current legislation.
You will take lead responsibility for reviewing the policies and monitor changes and be aware of any forthcoming changes.
Be the in-house employment law expert.
Identify trends arising and develop solutions and strategies.
Request regular feedback from other HR members.
Ensure the HR intranet section is kept updated.
Adhoc projects.
Ensure HR team is briefed on key activities.
Working closely with all HR depts.
Attend meetings to brief colleagues.
You will be CIPD qualified.
Expert in employment law.
Excellent project management skills.
