The role will entail visiting customer premises across the region to service fire extinguishers to relevant British Standards whilst adhering to health & safety requirements and continually identifying and delivering further sales opportunities with these customers.
You will ensure that all work meets company targets and that operating procedures are followed, utilising effective communication skills to identify and liaise with Decision makers on site to obtain sign off for work undertaken and agreement to additional sales, planning activities, journeys, call outs etc to maximise service time and ensure cost efficiency and maintaining adequate van stocks/ spares.

Ideally you will have already gained some sales experience but you will certainly need to demonstrate excellent presentation & communication skills, the self motivation and resilience to achieve targets, a flexible attitude and a strong work ethic.

The salary for this role is incentivised via bonus with guaranteed earnings of £17,250 and our strong performing Service Engineers can expect to earn from c£25,000 - £35,000 +. The key focus will be to initiate the relationship, build rapport and sell a compelling proposition to potential customers to switch from their current security/ fire service supplier to Chubb.

Your strategy will be to develop business with third party service takeovers, prospective customers with no existing service contract, winning back previous customers, targeting regional multi site users, developing a database of target customers with renewal dates and planning and implementing local targeted marketing campaigns

You will need to possess previous telephone and field sales experience and be very confident in your ability to set up your own appointments. You will be well versed in preparing, structuring and conducting an effective sales call, results focused and possess excellent communication skills. Ideally you will already possess experience in selling service & maintenance contracts but certainly exposure to service solution selling as opposed to product sales.

In order to be considered you will also need to already live within and be familiar with the South Yorkshire area and possess a valid UK Driving Licence.

The Basic salary offered is £16,000 and the role will be very incentivised with an uncapped commission scheme and we would expect a performing individual to earn c£35,000. You will also benefit from a company car and further benefits and longer term access to career opportunities throughout the business.
