Here at Capita, we are currently looking for a Service Support Technician Team Leader with experience of supporting and configuring Windows Server and SQL Server 2008, you will be leading a team of 4 technicians, so you will need to be experienced in team leading others - or would like to start team leading others. This role will involve: implementing systems and processes, managing day to day workload of the team, change management - ITIL processes. You will be helping the team supporting Windows Server and SQL Server 2008.

On a day to day basis you will be reporting into the IT Service and Infrastructure Manager, this role will be directly responsible for planning, organising and allocating the day to day activity of the technical team who monitor and maintain all of our Managed Service applications and environments. The scope of the role covers all incident resolution, problem investigation, change assessments and service release deployments issued from our standard ITIL based processes.

The role will mainly require liaising directly with team members and with other internal teams to agree schedule and priorities in line with business priorities agreed with the team manager. Some client contact will also be required.

Essential:

The ideal candidate must have the following;

Background of working in a technical environment
Experience of leading technical teams.
Previous experience in a customer facing environment.
Experience of delivering applications services in an externally hosted production environments.
Experience of continuous IT operations in structured, demanding environments.
Experience of networking and administration in a Microsoft based hosting environment.

Working on a client account basis, the IMAC Project Co-ordinator provides a customer facing point of entry and control to all such requests, and will regularly liaise with clients directly to review progress on open requests and to establish visibility of pipelines of work. When new clients are taken on, the defining and implementing of agreed processes to support the ongoing IMAC service is an integral part of the role, and this is then subject to review and improvement as part of the ongoing relationship. Accurate and timely financial reporting is a key element of the role.
