Working closely with the Commercial Director you will be responsible for:

• To ensure safe systems of work are developed and followed in the department and that the company health and safety policy is strictly adhered to.
• Ensure all work and conduct is in accordance with the Company Handbook.
• Ensure that the Company Quality Manual procedures are followed at all times.
• Provide expertise in Solidworks and AutoCAD.
• Design and develop new products and update existing products as required using engineering best practices.
• Work with the engineering team utilizing the Product Realization and MRF procedures to bring new products into production.
• Create and execute testing and acceptance criteria for developments in line with internationally recognized standards.
• Supervise creation of prototypes and commercial samples though internal and subcontract manufacturing routes.
• Assist with creation of user instruction manuals and other product documentation.

Experience of design and development of Industrial Components would be highly desirable, in addition to working with in the metal manufacturing industry.

Applicants must have a Degree in an Engineering discipline with a previous commercial experience of working in a Development Engineering post.
Knowledge of Solidworks and AutoCAD is essential.

This is a permanent position, working Monday to Friday working in a modern working facilities on the Edge of the Snowdonia National Park.

• Assist with the installation and annual review of key plant and machinery, monitoring performance and recording and reporting material defects to Directors of the Company;
