Job Working with Business Development and Operations to effectively manage multidisciplinary teams on the production of high quality, innovative tender activities to secure new business and support growth of contract with existing customers Responsibilities Pre Tender Deliver tenders ranging in size and including Reverse Auctions and Invitation to Quotes. Ownership of process for PQQ to submission for a wide range of business opportunities ranging from £50K to £100M+ Identify and assess technology partnerships for tenders and long term strategies Plan and manage resources for bid preparation, negotiation and project delivery Manage bid budgets Identify and manage risk at tender and handover Compile costing models with finance team Maintain bid documentation Post Tender Ensure comprehensive handover of projects to operations Performed lessons learned reviews Person You should be degree qualified in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent relevant experience with post graduate education being particularly of interest. You should have a proven track record in a similar role managing bids at a senior level. Demonstrable commercial and financial knowledge is needed as well as the ability to manage multidisciplinary teams including other senior personnel. Procurement outside of the UK and EU as well and UK public sector experience are all relevant.
