Fantastic opportunity to join a true market leading lighting company. The majority of their work is bespoke for projects ranging from listed manor houses to plush London hotels, via the specification market. Still privately owned after many years in operation, this company prides itself on employing only those that can fit into their stable, friendly and professional team.
Why should you want to work for this company?
* They have a highly enviable history within their sector - competitors know and are wary of them
* Their product is synonymous with quality and longevity
* The company is financially strong, privately owned with sensible yet exciting plans for the future - during the height of the recession their weakest month was £60k profit.
* Innovative and industry admired way of operating, both in terms of pricing and winning contracts.
* The area is already established and has plans for growth.
What you'll need to be armoured with:
* Solid experience within the lighting industry a must ? be this LED, decorative, display, commercial, exterior, emergency, lighting controls or associated fixtures and fittings.
* Experience selling into the specification market, be this via architect or designer / contractor (A&D marketing place).
* Your likely routes to market via said specifier should include a mixture of hotels, retail, care homes, MOD, cruise ships to give a few examples.
* An appreciation of lighting design would clearly be advantageous.
What to expect in return:
* Highly competitive package - they are well regarded in the industry and thus their workforce mirror this.
* Basic of £30-40k. Realistic bonus of £10k (more for the taking as no threshold or cap), choice of car, plus other benefits.
* A solid name in the industry. Specifiers will and do know about them and as such it is not a cold, hard sell.
* See the first five bullet points!
