Qualifications/Skills and Experience Preferably Degree educated within a Supply Chain related discipline or equivalent experience from a similar role Background within food manufacturing would be advantageous It is essential to have excellent communication, influencing and organisational skills Good attention to detail with the ability to challenge reported information

My Client is currently seeking an experienced Project Engineer with a mechanical bias to work within there well established team. A typical project engineer s role starts with carrying out client liaison to fully identify detailed user requirement following receipt of order. Continuing with engineering works including sourcing equipment from a range of products, Working with the client to establish working line layout and agreeing KPI s, generate P&ID s & PFD s, supplier negotiations and equipment purchasing, project cost tracking and monitoring, conduct our own internal fabrication quality and pre-assembly inspections and those with the client prior to despatch. Documentation gathering for manual compilation and training purposes. On Larger projects you may be nominated project leader whereby you would be leading a small team of engineers plus a health and safety manager on site working on CDM regulations. The successful applicant should expect a healthy split of 60% office based activities and 40% on site. Site involvement varies from project to project. Minimum HNC/HND qualification in engineering, minimum 3 years industry experience (mechanical/process bias) Previous experience in equipment design, fabrication and installation, project engineering, Preferably from the food, pharmaceutical or other related process industry, good understanding of machinery process and design.
