This position will consist of transferring passenger’s airside at London Heathrow Airport from Terminal to Terminal. You will be working at the new Terminal 5. You will be driving brand new Mercedes Citaro buses. You will disembark from the bus and greet the passengers at each Terminal. The first 6 months of the contract are on a temporary basis, after which you will become a permanent employee. You will be treated as a permanent member of staff from day one. There are good promotion prospects for the right candidates. You must hold a valid PCV driving licence Cat D Licence and passport or ID card. If your passport is not from the EU you must have a valid work Visa.
You must have a good standard of English as this is a customer service type driving role. You must be prepared to work shifts between 5.am – 12am and live within reasonable distance of Heathrow. The rate of pay is £10.69 per hour. Bank holidays are paid at Double time. Overtime will be paid at a flat rate for the first 6 months. A £250 maximum quarterly bonus is available. When permanent, you will be entitled to join the stakeholder pension scheme. You will be provided with a uniform, car park pass and canteen pass. Shift patterns revolve around a 40 hour week. There are 3 shift patterns 7 on 3 off week 1 then or 7 on 4 off week 2, 6 on 3 off and a 4 on 4 off this is a cover shift which are 12 hour shifts. A standard day’s duty length will be between 8 - 9 hours. Requirements *You must hold a full PCV Driving Licence, with no more than 6 points and no disqualifications within the last 10 days of applying. *You must hold a current EU passport. *You must be able to provide a full checkable work history within the last 5 years UK is preferable but we are also able to consider overseas applicants with no more than 3 jobs within the last 5 years. *You must have a valid National Insurance number. *The successful applicant must be able to undertake a full Disclosure to obtain an airside pass.

You will be collecting gourmet meals in containers from the food manufacturing plant based in Hounslow and delivering the meals to the aeroplanes at Heathrow Airport. This role will involve loading and unloading of the food containers which are on wheels and liaising with the flight crew. You will be working airside at the airport which means you will need to have a full checkable history for the last five years. This will preferably be within the UK.
