Unit Manager.
Unit Manager required to join a medium sized nursing home in South Birmingham
This well established home is part of a Large group of care homes looking providing elderly nursing care along with specialised elderly mental health and dementia care. This particular home provides nursing and residential care to 42 residents.
As a Unit Manager:
You will be expected to lead a team of nurses and carers. You will be working in a hands on clinical capacity as well as ensuring all medication documentation and care plans are produced by the appropriate staff. You will be responsible for the supervision and discipline of the team and you will be acting manager for two days a week in the home manager’s absence.

My client is based in Coventry part of a large independent care group caring for elderly They are looking for a Senior RGN to take on a clinical lead role
Main Purpose of senior RGN Role
The Senior RGN Clinical lead is accountable to the Registered Manager and is expected to achieve the following objectives:-
• to provide leadership to all staff in order to deliver the highest possible quality care within a safe working and living environment.
• to provide improvement, independence and choice for service users
• to comply with all regulatory and legislative requirements at all times and in particular with the Health & Social Care Act 2008.
• To take regular charge of the home in the absence of the Manager.
• To assist the Manager to set and maintain clear standards of care within the Home in accordance with Somerset Redstone Trust’s policies and procedures.
• To maintain standards of implementation of Trust policies by auditing procedures e.g. medicine audits.
This interesting and varied position is a full time role working 44 hours per week. A high level of confidentiality is required together with a flexible approach.
