We have an urgent requirement for a good AOI Inspector to start on a 12 month contract in Hertfordshire.
Must be experienced in this type of role, need to demonstrate a high proficiency in surface mount electronics, A first off through to batch inspection.
Must have strong computer skills, to use the automatic optical inspection system for which training will be given
Inspection of leading edge technology PCB assemblies using AOI tools and under microscope, ensuring all assemblies are built to exacting standards.
Hand soldering to IPC standards
Goods-In Inspection based on IPC standards
Contribute to goal of achieving zero defects
Various other production tasks
Experienced in surface mount technologies and processes
Bare PCB inspection as well as populated assemblies
Familiarity with IPC quality standards advantageous
Attention to detail with respect to quality and time management
Basic PC skills
