The Role;

- Contribute to the provision of high quality nursing & care services to meet individuals' needs, aspirations and well-being
- To monitor the health and wellness of the residents.
- Communication with all resident support services (GP's, District Nurses etc) and families; quality assurance; and regulatory compliance.

The Candidate;
- All applicants must be RGN qualified and have a current NMC pin number.
- Candidates will ideally have had experience within a nursing home environment however this is not essential
- You will need to have good clinical skills and a good understanding of best practice

To update on an ongoing basis the Sales & Marketing activity database and, on a daily, weekly or ad hoc basis, produce activity reports. Co-ordinate input from all team members.
To assist in answering all general Sales & Marketing enquiries from colleagues and customers, brochure requests, internet enquiries etc.
To be responsible for acquiring information and collating responses and data from customers as required including chasing outstanding information.
To assist in the Sales & Marketing events with special emphasis on preparation for and co-ordination of all sales events and exhibitions.
To record and follow up Sales leads to ensure sales targets are met.
To assist with supplying images, logos, brochures, CDs of Signature Site and to manage small print/artwork jobs such as postcards, stickers and adverts etc.
To ensure that all reports are prepared within timescale and are accurate
To keep up to date and manage the information on the pipeline of potential members and when they will likely convert so as to maximise revenue and meet sales targets
Develop new contacts and maintain regular and close contacts with all key care influences

10. To identify new sales opportunities and to ensure that these where possible come to completion

11. To be flexible in covering the sales and marketing office over seven days, including weekends and evening hours as and when required

12. The post holder will comply with the HR policies and procedures and attend initial and update mandatory training as required.

13. The post holder will actively engage in professional supervision and annual appraisal ensuring personal professional knowledge and competency is maintained.

14. The post holder will work within contracted hours or sign an opt out clause under Working Time Directives.

The ideal candidate will be a Registered General Nurse (RGN) with experience caring for older people with general and dementia nursing needs within a nursing home environment.

The role will include, Care Planning, Medication Administration and working within a multi-disciplinary team, therefore candidates who apply must have excellent communication skills and be clinically up to date.

This position is a full time permanent position covering 35-38 hours per week covering days.

Our client are currently looking for a qualified RGN/RMN to work night duty in their well established care community in Kent.

All qualified applicants with current entitlement to work in the UK (including for example HSMP visas) are welcome. We regret we are unable to seek work permits on behalf of candidates, which means that applicants requiring work permits unfortunately will not be considered

You have the choice to work 2-4 nights a week.

Staff at our clients Kent care home have been attending ACC courses since March, and so far have covered topics like Stroke Awareness, Dignity in Care and various dementia issues.
