Our prestigious client Rolls-Royce Motor Cars are currently seeking a Fleet Workshop Controller to manage the on-site workshop facility on a daily basis, ensuring technician efficiency and the quality of workmanship is adhering to Rolls-Royce dealer standards. Develop the workshop business to cope with increasing Rolls-Royce car park volumes and increase workshop profitability. The role will be based at their manufacturing plant and head office based in Westhampnett, West Sussex. Please note that although this role is based at Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Ltd you will be employed by Gi Group, the on-site agency.
Key Accountabilities * management of vehicle technicians daily workload to ensure smooth running of the workshop, liaising with the Service, Sales and Press Departments. * provide technical support to the technicians if required due to workload. * administer workshop warranty claims, parts ordering process and submitting technical reports.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience: * Should be educated to Motor vehicle industry recognised qualification in mechanical or electronic systems (e.g. NVQ, City&Guilds, BEng (Hons), HNC) * In-depth understanding of modern motor vehicle construction and its electronic architecture. * Detailed understanding of the after sales business. * An understanding of sales operations, marketing * IT skills,MS office to a high standard. * Excellent communication skills * Ability to be assertive Due to the high volumes of applications we are currently receiving, unfortunately we are only able to contact candidates who are successful in progressing to the next stage. Our prestigious client Rolls-Royce Motor Cars are currently seeking a Process Planner to realise the design and engineering requirements into a production process, delivering the optimum performance in terms of quality and cost whilst safeguarding the health and safety of the employees. The role will be based at their manufacturing plant and head office based in Westhampnett, West Sussex. Key Areas of Responsibility: - Evaluation/Concept studies for future vehicle projects - Manufacturing feasibility and realisation of design and engineering requirements - Design method and process; including materials, tools, jigs and equipment, process parameters, layout - Health & Safety, environmental and legal considerations - Project manage the implementation of new features and products - Industrial Engineering

We are looking for a professional person to carry out the role of a Night Shift Goods In Stock Control Administrator based at Thatcham, Berks.
The candidate must have the following demonstrable skills to carry out the role on offer;
*Good communication skills *Outstanding customer service skills, along with experience of working within a Logistics based environment. *Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office programmes *SAP experience a distinct advantage *Ability to maintain and update spreadsheets *Ability to work as part of a team and to be able to work on own initiative *Ability to work on a Night shift pattern covering 10pm to 6am Sunday night to Friday morning (5 nights). We are currently looking for professional, Class One (C+E) Dray Drivers to deliver to Public Houses/Social and Sports Clubs across the South and South Coast of England for our Drinks Distribution Client based in Thatcham, Near Newbury Berkshire.
Candidates based in the Portsmouth, Bournemouth, Herne and Blandford areas are also very sought after and are very welcome to apply.
Minimum qualifying requirements to be considered for this role are as follows;
*Minimum of two years Class One experience *Good knowledge of EU drivers hours rules and regulations *Digital Tachograph use and knowledge *No more than 6 points and no disqualifications due to drivers negligence insurance
You will also need the following knowledge and experience to be considered for this role, however all applications will be considered and induction and training will be offered to the right candidate.
*Be able to work as part of a 2 man crew *Multi drop delivery knowledge and experience *Good working knowledge of the South/South Coast of England *Ability to work on own and initiative and as part of a team *Physically fit due to the demands of the role
If the above minimum requirements are successfully met, you will then be required to undertake the following assessments;
*On-Line assessment covering knowledge of EU drivers hours and road regulations (pass mark of 70% is required to progress further) *Digital Tachograph knowledge (pass mark of 80% is required to progress further) *If the above on-line assessment is successful you are then required to carry out an 8 hour driving assessment followed by a further maximum two weeks training.
