Interpreting Requirements Specifications to develop system and design strategy for Display driver and Power Management products.
Block and top level design from Specification to synthesized and STA clean netlist.
Design verification and developing improved verification methodologies.

Essential Requirements -

Our clients are a leading global Automation & Process Control company who specialise in a variety of sectors including Oil and Gas, Petrochemical, Nuclear & Industrial Sectors.
Due to continued growth they are looking to recruit an experienced Field Service/System Service Engineer to work on a number of key projects in the North West region.
These are on-site roles in a client facing capacity so rapport building skills and technical expertise are essential
The positions will involve responsibilities that include:
- Internal configuration and testing
- Knowledge of DCS sequencing
- Preventative maintenance & troubleshooting
- System diagnosis
- Understanding upgrades to the system
- Making recommendations for system upgrades/maintenance
- Some project support
- Potentially some lead generation based on recommendations
Required/Essential:
- Must have a good level of experience of either Foxboro, Yokogawa, Emerson Delta V, Honeywell TDC 3000 or ABB DCS systems
- Some experience or an understanding of PLC diagnostics
- A good level of experience within a process industry
- Excellent communicator able to interface with the client and hold your own in technical project meetings
Salary is depending on experience and is market competitive; the successful candidate will also be offered a car with fuel card, mobile, lap top, tools, pension and private health cover.

Position Summary
The Hardware Design Team in Southern Germany, develop the modules for the Companies Active Antenna System. The team covers all steps from concept definition to system ready solution involving circuit design, board layout, performance evaluation and eventually transfer into a manufacturable product. The successful candidate will have the possibility to contribute in a wide variety of tasks and will ideally be involved in all aspects of the Companies Active Antenna System.
Job Description
Design RF modules and subcomponents up to 10 GHz for use in the Companies
transceiver module including:
Select suited components and create schematic design
Guide and advise Board Layout
Validate performance on test board level
Integrate design into product module respect to system performance,
manufacturability and cost.
Optimize RF structures on PCBs as well as on IC level using electromagnetic field
solvers like HFSS.
Set up and perform validation and characterization testing of RF modules in the lab
Provide guidelines and supervision for manufacturing tests of the Companies Active
Antenna modules.
Interface with other Engineering teams on board requirements, system
features and definition of future products
Expertise Required
Master Degree in Electrical Engineering, Information Technology or Physics or equivalent.
Successful track record as Design Engineer with more than 5 years experience in
RF design (schematic and layout)
Hands on testing and debug experience of both RF and high speed digital boards
Familiarity with Agilent's ADS and Ansoft's HFSS is advantageous
Demonstrated good communication skills, teamwork and cross-cultural awareness
Languages: Fluent English required, good German is a plus
