The Role:
To produce detailed design packages suitable for issue to client and construction for DCS, ESD and F&G Systems.
The main purpose of the job is to produce the Design information from I/O allocations and Field cable schedules supplied by the client. The design will include detailed or typical layout drawings, parts lists, AC/DC wiring diagrams and/or schedules and I/O wiring schedules. There will also be a requirement to produce supporting documentation, site work packs, and instruction sets. To work with the project team to produce the necessary documentation required by the client as well as provide suitable information for construction of the systems. To provide knowledge and solution to achieve a final system design that meets exactly the client requirements, whilst following all internal procedures.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience in the design of DCS, ESD and F&G Systems within the Oil and Gas industry
- Educated to HNC/HND level (or equivalent) in Electrical and Electronic Engineering (or similar).
- To be able to work to procedures in a continually audited environment

My client is looking to recruit a Product / Project Manager who will be responsible for the full project lifecycle for Transformers. Successful candidates must have sound knowledge of contract execution & pay particular attention to customer satisfaction.

My client is a leading defence company involved design and build of naval vessels for the UK and overseas clients.
They currently require a junior systems engineer to assist in the creation of baselines for the control systems of the project.
This baseline is the original template design containing requirements for functions, performance, interfaces, verification, testing, cost, etc.
The Role
In order to be able to carry out this role you must:
- Understand P&ID’s and system schematics
- Have a good grasp on systems and how they interface with each other
- Be IT literate and able to work with programmes such as Excel on a day to day basis
This role requires a person with diligent data management skills due to the size of the project (40,000+ i/o).
Experience within defence or naval systems is beneficial but not essential, experience with other similar mechanical, electrical or fluid systems would be sufficient.
Requirements:
