CNC Programmer
Day shift / Nottingham
Working for an established manufacturer we require an experienced CNC programmer, for the manufacture of small to medium sized plastic injection mould tools.
Joining an extremely successful manufacturing business with long term investment and an enviable order book.
About the role
You will focus on setting, operating and programming CNC milling machines in a precision engineering environment. Manufacturing critical components to demanding production schedules and quality standards.
Qualities we are looking for:
Ability to operate and program Vertical Machining Centres.
Experience as a machine setter, managing the process from drawing to finished product turning concept into reality.
Pro Active - Ability to work on your own initiative.
Apprentice trained. Ideally, fully conversant with programming and operating Heidenhain controls, but training may be provided where appropriate.
CAM skills for offline programming preferred, however the successful candidate will be provided with training and coaching on the CAM software, if necessary.
Willingness to learn - Be self motivated and continuously strive for improvements.
The successful candidate will have a proven history and be apprentice trained , with experience as a CNC Milling Setter/Operator.

Mechanical Design Engineer - 3D, Solidworks.
Mechanical, hydraulics, pneumatic controlled special purpose equipment.
Ideally you will have some FEA experience although not essential as training will be given.
This opportunity requires an experienced 3D Mechanical Design Engineer who will enjoy the variation of working on different projects designing special purpose machines for clients within the Oil & Gas , Power Generation , Nuclear and Petrochemical industries.
Skills / Experience Required:
Qualified in mechanical engineering with at least 3 years proven hands-on 3D Cad design experience in automation, machine tool, jig & fixtures or special purpose equipment.
Mechanical design skills to include jigs & fixtures, hydraulics, fabrications , pneumatics
Experience of Solidworks is desirable but experience of other 3D CAD packages is essential.
FEA experience advantageous.
Immediate contract for up to 6 months work.

Maintenance Engineer Multi Skilled, Electrical Biased
Experienced Maintenance Engineer required joining an existing engineering team who strive to deliver quality engineering supporting production within a FMCG manufacturing site.
Proven experience within electrical maintenance engineering in a high volume, fast paced manufacturing industry is essential.
Overview:
Will suit electrical maintenance engineers located in the Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire or Leicestershire or Staffordshire area
Applicants must be apprenticeship trained engineers with proven industry experience in a manufacturing environment either: automotive, plastics, packaging or food.
Continental shift pattern (every other weekend off) £32,000 + paid overtime and full company benefits package.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide quality engineering support to production to enable continuous running of plant and equipment.
Deliver rapid response to breakdown situations.
Ensure first time fixes through timely and effective diagnosis of faults.
Identify improvement areas within the line engineering processes and recommend/implement solutions.
Adhere to laid down systems of work, ensuring compliance within the required standards of Health and Safety/conduct/hygiene/housekeeping.
Demonstrate ability to work unsupervised with a self-confidence to make decisions in the workplace.
Carry out installation of plant, equipment and services as required.
Establish and maintain a sound working relationship with production line staff.
Skills & Experience Required:
Apprenticeship trained - electrical
Ability to prioritise and work effectively under pressure
Effective communication skills
Good interpersonal skills
Self motivated and proactive approach to work
