Responsible for operating and maintaining the ship's main air conditioning and domestic refrigeration plant and any further tasks as required.
Duties will include the following:

2.10 To use Refman, together with Amos, as a working tool in order to populate defect & repair’s to the Ships Services Engineer for approval.
You the ventilation officer in order to be considered will require the following:
• British Class 2 (Motor) Certificate or equivalent, Eligibility to be issued with a Certificate of Equivalent Competency by the UK Marine and Coastguard Agency
• Excellent command of English Language, both written and spoken
• Valid ENG1 Medical Certification
• Eligible for issue of a United States C1/D Visa
• Knowledge and experience of modern marine plant, ideally onboard cruise liners
• Good IT Skills, and ability to manipulate modern Windows based packages

* Ensure that all maintenance and equipment records, including testing and recording of safety equipment, planned maintenance schedules / repairs and associated work orders, for all equipment in his area of accountability be maintained.
* Ensure that all hotel defects are addressed in a prompt manner and a good record kept for those items which are pending.
* Supervise all deck and hotel maintenance to include F&B and accommodation areas, carpentry, plumbing, painting / polishing, upholstery and all hotel supplied services originating in the engine room to include fresh water distribution system, swimming pool and spa systems, sewage systems and fire and sprinkler systems.
* Provide assistance, as required, with garbage room maintenance.
* Manage, supervise, train and direct the deck fitters in the maintenance of all deck machinery as laid out in Amos, FMM and Fleet Regulations.
* Ensure the Ventilation Officer carries out his / her duties in a diligent and proactive manner as required by the FMM, SOLAS and Public Health and Flag State regulations.
* Provide technical training and support to staff under his direction.
* Prior to and during onboard inspections to work alongside the Staff Engineer to liaise with regulating authorities and Port State Control, ensuring that corrective actions are completed, recorded and updated within Amos for those areas under the SSE.
* Responsibility for all Pool and Spa maintenance, including all routines detailed in Amos and Fleet Regulations.
* Issuing instruction to Watchkeepers, via Staff Engineer, with regard to equipment availability, equipment that is required to be shut down and isolated for the next day, equipment that requires testing / monitoring. Detailing any special circumstance regarding various systems.

HR Manager required for our client a leader in the Oil and Gas contracting services sector. You will be primary responsible for the daily management of the HR Function. Provide support when required to HR Team in other offices. Ensure that all personnel are managed in accordance with Labour Law, Company HR Policies and Procedures. Ensure that adequate manual & computerised records are kept up to date and to ensure compliance with all related National and Corporate legal, procedural and auditing requirements.
PERSON SPECIFICATION:
CIPD qualified.
Must be a team player and have excellent team building, management and relationship skills.
Ability to prioritise work and achieve tight deadlines.
A proven track record of working in a similar role preferably in the offshore industry.
Familiarity with Emergency Response in the offshore sector not a necessity but willingness and ability to work in the Company?s Emergency Response procedure is a requirement of the position.
Excellent attention to detail.
Good initiative.
Very good problem solving skills.

COST CONTROL ENGINEER REQUIRED
To Establish and manage effectively a cost control system in order to support the Project Manager's decision-making process and allow him to complete the project within the approved Budget. Ensure any deviation from plan is promptly spotted and analysed, final impact is estimated and the effect of corrective actions taken is monitored. Create a cost awareness atmosphere among all project participants. Satisfy Operating Company and Corporate requirements for the reporting (Budget/
Forecasts/ monthly accruals) and, in cooperation with responsible functions, for informations required to achieve financial/tax optimisation.

Our Client is a leader in cable installation, maintenance and engineering.
KEY DUTIES
Ensure that facilities are managed safely and in accordance with legislation and best industry practice.
Management of all depot and property leases, contracts, service provisions and manning. Implementing appropriate changes as required
Implement facility processes and procedures, with updates as required.
Health and safety audits to ensure compliance with procedures.
Providing an effective worldwide emergency and out of hours response service for all depots and properties in support of the business
Assist with the business continuity plan for all facilities.

Implement and maintain an enviromental management programme across all facilities
Undertaking space planning, fit-out works and internal office moves within all the company’s premises.
Ongoing reactive and planned maintenance to fabric, premises and building services, to include decorative and refurbishment works, obtaining of Landlord and planning consents for building works; project management to delivery of all required works at all sites.
Achieving and maintaining all relevant Statutory compliances for the workplace environments, including Health & Safety work practices and requirements with regard to the fabric of the building, Fire Safety requirements, Environmental Management and Risk Assessment, Catering Food and Hygiene practices etc. in compliance with each particular country’s requirements.
Selection, negotiation and sourcing of all main services and utilities, office equipment, catering equipment, furniture, signage, as required in support of the company’s business activities at each location worldwide.
Participation in company-wide facilities and properties projects e.g. major relocation projects, procurement, planned maintenance
Producing annual budgets, forecasting and maintaining expenditure to agreed targets
Management of the companies holding of modular equipment to ensure that it is maintained and in an operational state for offshore use.
Develop a suite of standard documents, reports and administrative processes
Conduct performance reviews.
Arrange training and development of team
Any other reasonable request as made by line manager from time to time
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Preferred Qualifications:
o ONC in Business Studies or equivalent
Preferred Experience:
o Significant experience in the management and running of multi location office, depot and, if possible, mobilisation facilities
o A proven track record in maintaining high standards of workforce accommodation
o Knowledge of building, fire and other accommodation and access safety regulations
o Exposure to supervising facility and administration teams
