The Inventory Planning Manager is responsible for the generation of a plan that will achieve the Turns target that supports the Cash objectives. Our market leading client is looking for a Thermal Ink Jet Specialist to work closely with pre and post sales departments. Candidates must be prepared for global travel at short notice as there is a broad international customer base to support. Products are used extensively in the healthcare, pharmaceutical and food industries, amongst others. The role is based at HQ, where initial support can be given by telephone and web based tools. Visits will be required to distributors and customers, to investigate breakdowns, and support installations and new product introduction seminars and presentations. You may need to assist in the development of training material.
You will be required to interact with various departments within the group, so strong communication skills are required - any additional language skills will be an advantage, but are not a must.
Ideally we are looking for experience of designing, maintaining, servicing or installation of high resolution printing technology or related equipment, and some knowledge of Ink Jet or other industrial coding technology.
