Our esteemed client is looking for an experienced Operations Team Leader.
This is a great opportunity to work at our clients Bacton site where you will report directly to the Terminal Manager and be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the process and control desk operation of offshore facilities. As a key member of the terminal management team you will safely and effectively lead a team of Technician Operators working closely with the Lead Operators and Maintenance Team Leaders.
The successful candidate will have proven leadership skills with knowledge of safe systems and emergency management, preferably with experience in the oil and gas industry, although applicants from related industries will be considered.
We are looking for someone who is a good communicator, highly motivated and committed to achieving our goals and objectives. You will manage and direct your Operations team, to achieve a safe, reliable and efficient operation of the Terminal.
This role operates on a regular shift pattern of one week on and one week off, 12hour days/nights for which a shift allowance payment is made.

The position provides rotating machinery support and technical assurance to the onshore and offshore operations in line with company policy and legislation.
The role would suit an engineering degree qualified candidate with strong operational knowledge and practical experience of offshore based rotating equipment. The primary focus of this role will be to lead and manage the mechanical integrity of rotating machinery with regard to HSE, production, people and costs.

Attend vendor co-ordination meetings, project hazops and design review meetings. Be responsible for the approval of project commissioning procedures and reviewing vendors machinery test procedures including witnessing testing.
Maintain & continuously refine machinery maintenance strategies. Defining machinery specific basic care requirements and planned maintenance tasks for gas turbines and compressors.

Provide a focal point for all HSE requirements
