Our client is a small but expanding company who supply refurbished mobile phones to the UK market. They require a mobile phone repair engineer to join their team based in Dartford, Kent.
The Role will be on a permanent basis working Monday to Friday.The main function will be to repair and refurbish old mobile phones to an "as new" standard, so they can be sold on. This will involve:
1. Striping down the mobile telephones
2. Fault finding down to component level
3. Carrying out full repairs such as screen replacement, water damage or electronic repair (including BGA repair and replacement)
4. Soldering as necessary to the repairs being conducted.
5. Rebuiling of the handset.
You could potentially be working on any phone on the market however it is most likely tat you will be working on the more popular brands of phone such a Apple iPhone and Blackberry.
The successful applicant will have previous experience of repairing mobile phones down to component level, including electronic and BGA components and should be able to solder both lead and lead free. You will be highly competant with fault finding and be fully conversant with oscilloscopes and multimeters. Ideally you would also have a broad working knowledge of some of the most popular mobile phone brands on the market such as Apple, Blackberry, Nokia, Sony Ericsson, LG, HTC, etc.

Our client is looking for a versatile embedded software programmer to work on their world leading range of AV, KVM and IP products and technologies
Much of the embedded software for these products is written in C and so experience with embedded C is a core requirement for this role.
We also use elements of assembler code and C++ from time to time and so general competency with these languages is also necessary. An understanding of the requirements of real time operating systems, Experience of Linux kernels and multi-threaded systems is also required.
The hardware bias of the products also means that it is often necessary to work very closely with hardware engineers to tailor software to work most efficiently on the target hardware platform.
The role involves both the structural design of software and detailed implementation work and so we are looking for a candidate who is comfortable working at broad and detailed levels.
Experience with writing software for network appliances and an understanding of network protocols would be a bonus.
Knowledge of security and authentication processes (RSA / AES etc.) would also be useful.
Candidates should have a good degree or equivalent educational qualifications.

We are currently looking for a number of experienced Level 3 Mobile phone Repair technicians, to work in our clients' newly opened site in Rathcoole, Dublin, ROI.
The role will be to work on a full time basis, 40 hours per week plus overtime, in an authorised service environment, repairing some of the most recent mobile phones on the market. This level of technician will be repairing and replacing components down to PCB motherboard level, and will require a highly skilled level of soldering.
Candidates who have experience in servicing mobile telephones within an authorised service environment will be preferred and you will ideally have experience of component and electronic repair such as connectors, LCDs, flex, cameras, as well as having the competancy of repairing PCB level components #including BGA#. Those candidates who have experience with PCB and electronic component level repairs will be ideal.
It would also be useful to have working knowledge of one or more of the major brands of mobile phone such as Nokia, Sony Ericsson, Samsung, Apple, HTC and LG.
As well as this, you should be familier with diagnostic equipment such as oscilloscopes and multimeters, and ideally be able to calibrate the PCB's using industry standard equipment.

We are currently looking for a number of experienced Level 3 mobile phone technicians to fulfil some of our major contracts in the South East.
We require technicians in the Kent area, to work at our clients site in Ashford, wich is one of the biggest and fastest growing repair centres in the UK. The role will be working in an authorised service environment repairing phones from all of the major UK brands.
You will be responsible for full diagnostics and repairs and you will be required to work with a high level of precision and quality and must posess the ability to repair 15 phones a day. All positions are full time and on an ongoing basis.
Candidates will ideally have experience in servicing mobile telephones within an authorised service environment at Level 3 standards.You are also required to have experience of component and electronic repair such as connectors, LCDs, flex, cameras, etc as well as having the competancy of repairing PCB level components (including BGA). Those candidates who have experience with PCB and electronic component level repairs bot by hand and by machine will be ideal.
It would also be useful to have working knowledge of one or more of the major brands of mobile phone such as Blackberry, Nokia, Sony Ericsson, Samsung, Apple, HTC or LG.
Consideration may also be given to candidates who have an electronics qualification and have worked in a similar industry repairing consumer electronics or high precision assembling, but they must have worked on component level repair and diagnostics in there particular field.
